Intro to Ayurveda with Agni Chapska (1)
Time & Location
About The Event
Are your feeling tired, scattered or overwhelmed? Discover ways to find balance with Yogic and Ayurvedic practices that nourish and revitalize the body - especially durning the fall season when all of the sudden everything begins to feel too windy.
Ayurveda is yoga's sister science, and Agni Chapska is leading an introductory workshop on Sunday, September 16th.
In this 3-hour workshop, you'll learn the basic premises and philosophy of Ayurveda.
We'll also practice gentle, restorative yoga to balance the Pitta/Vata energies of the season.
You'll come away with insights based on your personal emotional and physical constitution (or "Dosha"), and new tools to implement into your life and self care routines to create balance and wellbeing.
*** Agni has studied Ayurveda with Kathryn Templeton at Himalayan Institute in PA. She holds an Ayurveda Specialist certification, and has been conducting workshops on Ayurveda for the past 4 years. Her mission is to make this ancient wisdom and science available to as many students as possible.
Cost $35 pre-registration, $42 at the door.
